huixin's birthday

this year's birthday is very different. because it clashes with almost everything. my sis's op. fac outing coming up. basically this was the most hectic birthday i ever had. actually for the past few years i would actually count down to my birthday. then when it is nearing 29oct i would be really excited! but think must be because getting older and older le. birthday doesnt seems that big and important anymore. it is just like any other normal day.

but...

it doesnt mean that i didnt enjoy my birthday this year!

thanks to many many people i still did had a great birthday this year. not the greatest. but truthfully i enjoyed myself and i think that is enough for now.

to my girlfriends. thank u for making the effort to really want to celebrate my birthday with me despite every other thing that cocked up and made it so impossible for us to meet together. haa i've finally got a bag that is MINE! i love the chocolate fondue even though it is fattening and fattening and REALLY FATTENING. thankyou for entering my life.

to nina! HHA i doubt u will even read this. but i really didnt expect for you to ring me a sms and ask me to go downstairs to get a present from u specially! i like the card and i will always yes ALWAYS be somewhere near

to chng winnie! you this zaboh really did bought me a voodoo! longlong ago u said u will get one for me for my birthday. but i thought you forgot! badluck stay farfar away. you are already the best gift to me

to the s66 girls. thanks for the shirt. dontworry it is NOT too small. ok maybe it is abit tight fitting but i will slim down so that it will become loose yah!

to all those who smsed.
it meant alot to me. i never knew that a birthday sms can make such a difference to the one reading it on the other end. it tells huixin that she is actually remembered by manymany people whom she thought she has almost lost touch with.

finally to you. thanks for cracking your brain so hard to find me a present. hope you liked yours too.

in the past it were the presents that made huixin happy. now presents seemed so much less important to her. huixin is glad there are still people around her who bothered about this day

queue-cutting

promos are here. i am totally sick of studying and i just can't gather enough motivation to mug hard. so i am here.

i was at the ntuc today. ok i sound like an auntie. fancy going shopping at ntuc fairprice. anyway i was stocking up for promos u see. while i study i need to constantly put something inside my mouth. bad habit yeah? cause at the end of the day i would just get fat yet nothing much in the notes goes into my brain.

anyway i was queueing up to pay behind this lady with a whole trolley of things. and i only had a few items to pay for. if that aint worse enough, suddenly there was this UNCLE who came and stood beside me. the queue was quite messy yah, but it was quite clear that i CAME FIRST. i was thinking maybe he just wanted to stand beside me (-.-) then after that when the queue moved, he just automatically moved infront of me. and he HAD a WHOLE BASKET filled with items to pay for. and he DIDNT look a teeny weeny bit apologetic for cutting queue at all.

ARGH. after that while waiting for my turn to pay, i kept thinking to myself why didnt i stop him from cutting queue. lousy me. this shall be the last time i allow people to cut my queue. never cut queues hor. u never know the person standing behind you may be cursing you.

anyway after that irritating incident. went to the toilet just beside ntuc. GUESS WHAT. i was queueing for the cubicles. then two little girls came in. i think they din see me or what. they went to stood in front of me.

me: "!!!!!!!"

i was thinking oh man how suay can i get. get queue-cutted twice in a row. but they are small little cute girls so i can't bring myself to scold them or what. so i just suffered in silence.

then the mama of the two small kids came in. then she started saying:

"AIYO. how can you two cut queue? never see jiejie behind u all meh?"

then i got abit embarrassed so i started saying:

"nvm lar. ta men only xiao hai zi. bu dong shi. let them go first it's ok."

then their mama said :

"cant lar! everything also must law by law de. must jiao1 them. quick say sorry to jiejie"

and the whole time the mother din sound angry or scary. just like naturally teaching her kids not to cut queues in the future. lol anyway the two girls were quite cute. =D

that uncle earlier on from ntuc should learn from them.

anyway i like just the way that mum teaches her kids. when i came out from the ladies i saw their whole family with their papa. i sort of heard their conversation. lol can see that they are a xingfu the family.:)

huixinisblogging

today iS teachers' day celebration. and today is a bigbig rainy day. rained all the way from early this morning to now. i think the rain just ended. could have slept for the whole day at home de.

today started off with me on the bus. was damn happy because i managed to get a seat! haha i sound so damn auntie. but for the past few days i never got to sit on the bus at all on the way to school! standing on the bus all the way from jurong to bkt timah is tortorous enough le. somemore you must look at all those people sleeping comfortably on their seats while u stand and try to balance on the shaky bus while sleeping standing. =S

then was teachers' day celebration. didnt stay throughout. went back to rv. actually on the bus to rv. winnie asked me: "go back rv for what huh?" then i also started thinking, "yah lor go back rv for what huh -.-" i mean there are no specific teachers that i really want to see or talk to. quite pathetic lar. but there are teachers that i wanted to ~~siam~~ away from though.

anyway saw some el juniors. i guess it does feels great to know that your juniors actually recognise you. =D great crapping with winnie and lengshan and co. at some isolated classroom beside the canteen. feels as though nothing has really changed. and i realised i always get kind of hyper when i go back to rv. i mean really hyper, jumping around and laughing. nowadays in school i hardly get 'high' anymore. you need the right company and mood i guess.

then after that went for lunch for 2e. got to talk abit and see people that i havent seen for a longlong time.

i am craving for the haagen dazs icecream i saw at ntuc that day.

talking about icecream. shall blog about some of the fun-er things that happened some days before.

the story of the icecream and 6pigs

day:19aug tuesday
time:1.00pm
weather:sunny. BIGBIG sun.
cast:huixin+waikuan+yingqun+changboon+martin+nengjie

6 children were having their half an hour break.
they were bored.
one stopid child huixin suddenly feels like eating tropicalsling icecream.
tropicalsling icecream is sold in the hwachong icecream vending machine.
huixin asked nengjie to go eat icecream together.
nengjie asked huixin to treat him.
huixin no money.
changboon suddenly said: "lets go 7-eleven!"
huixin said: "go 7-eleven for what?"
changboon said: "go buy icecream."
huixin said: "half an hour where lai de ji?"
changboon replied: "lai de ji de lar!"

so the 6 children went out of school to go to 7 eleven.
on the way, they decided that ntuc sell the icecream more variety and cheaper. (like a group of aunties)
so they walked further to ntuc at coro.
they OOO AHHH EHHHH in the ntuc icecream section for a longlong time.
"buy this wan lar!"
"dont want very exp!"
"canot lar this box only got 4 sticks not enough de"

they spent nearly 10minutes deciding what icecream to buy.
finally they bought the MOOMOO high calcium milk icecream.
6 children happily paid for the icecream at 1.23pm.
lesson starts at 1.30pm.
they chionged back to school eating their icecream.
6 happy children went for lessons. =D

moral of the story:
never underestimate the power of icecream.

such a small incident. yet it was this that made my day.

thisisalousyweek

i promised myself i would blog more. haha hopefully this time i would be able to upload this entry at one go. not like last time that entry where that stupid error thing keep coming up. if this time it happens again i am going to give up and just forget about this entry.

this has been a super lousy week. everything is going at a fast forward pace. like the "fastforward" bus service like that. more and more tutorials are coming and never ending. everyday i go school and just can't wait for the day to end then go home and sleep. hopeless case.

tuesday was a HAHAA day. dont noe cannot think of a better adjective to describe. the HAHAA story started with a paranoid girl who was really worried. then got chain reaction so 2 other girls got worried also. then the HAHAA story ended with a 'worried for nothing'. nevertheless it was not a wasted day -> it was a 'share and care' day X)

today i realised this:

cookies&cream icecream + a touching movie + a great friend = a super day.
this equation never fails.

despite:
a lousy ntuc with limited icecream variety
tutorials completely abandoned
having to climb hills before reaching.
*winks to winnie*

there are already 5 people who said that i am disgusting icecream eater.

i like taking long bus trips alone actually.

oh shit i just realised i have been eating icecream EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past three days.

monday: i ate a islandcreamery cookies&cream single scoop + hotfudge sundae
*quite sinful but i was feeling quite hyper that day so i need icecream to replenish energy.

tuesday: hotfudege sundae
*we were sitting down in mac so we had to get something right or else the mac people will come chase us out. so it was logical.

wednesday: cookies & cream ONE TUB shared
*this was an ice-cream date! and the most i ate was onethird a tub. so it wasnt that bad actually =D

have to start wearing my long forgotten retainers. my teeth is going out of shape. actually the dentist say must everday wear de. but....
it has been 3 months since i said byebye to my braces.
2 months since i got my retainers.
total number of times i actually wore my retainer = less than 10.

i dont like eggdrop. i wonder why the physics department must come up with such a dumb project. waste eggs + toothpicks + superglue. need money buy wan leh.

stop ranting huixin. go and sleep
hopefully friday would be a better day :)
